How long is the service? It’s nice to know how long a service typically runs so people can plan accordingly.
What about kids? Visitors with children like to know what to do when they first walk in—should they head to the kid’s classrooms or bring them into the main service? Also, they want to know what kind of care their child will be receiving.
What’s the service like? Let people know the style of music, whether the service is formal or informal, and other details so they know what to expect. Try to make these details reflect the mission and values of your church.
How do people normally dress? People feel more comfortable in a new place when they don’t feel like they stand out.

Your First Visit To Solid Rock

Many people wonder: “What will my first visit to Solid Rock be like?”

So let us set your mind at ease with these comments and suggestions:

[1] How should I dress?

The most common way we dress is casual; but you would not be out-of-place in a suit.

[2] Should I bring anything?

First – bring other family members and/or friends!

Then the only other thing we would suggest is a Bible, if you have one. If you don’t, be sure to ask us for a free one.

[3] Will you be singled out or embarrassed?

No! But we would love it if you would fill out a “Welcome” card and drop it in the offering.

You will also find our people to be very friendly.

[4] How long is your typical service?

We start at 10:30 AM and usually end by about 12 noon.

[5] Is there Children's Ministry?

Yes - we have both Nursery and Children's Church.

At Solid Rock, we believe the family should Worship together. So we dismiss children to Children's Church after our Worship celebration.
